Painting on canvas is a constant fight against myself.
Working on canvas it is an adventure. A long trip into my mind.
It takes a lot of my energy but it gives me back even more positive energy.
It is an exchange: I open up to any ideas, thoughts, feelings, dreams and I let myself go.
Painting on canvas is a constant fight against myself.
I ussualy start with words, text, sentences, on paper. Then I move to sketch, easy fast drawing or painting with oil pastels or pencils in small pieces of paper.
I don1t overthing. I just work fast and let the ideas find their way to the papers without even knowing myself what I am expressing. From there, i move on.
I use different techniques and a mix media of hard and soft medium paint of different brands.
It takes experimentation with new techniques, and letting myself to make errors, correct, fix, repeat… until I feel it is done.
It takes time, avoid stressing, taking pauses, breathing, singing, playing music, letting the job rest, tell me something, speak to me… and more time, something which seems forgotten these days.
