I was born and raised in Argentina a country shaped by immigration and strongly influenced by Italian culture. But I come from a Jewish family. My grandparents escaped pogroms in Eastern Europe and found refuge in Argentina. I grew up aware of our ancestors’ experiences of peace and war in a world that is rarely simple.When I was young I travelled across continents with a backpack long before mobile phones and the internet made the world feel so close. I lived in Israel for several years where I began seriously working in handicrafts selling my own creations in Jerusalem. Later I brought my work to Norway. Now I’d like to take it to other countries too at least give it a try.

A STORY FROM MY ORIGINS
MALEVO DESIGN
In 1992, I established my own workshop in Norway, creating original handmade jewellery in sterling silver, some combined with Fimo polymer clay. The art work combined sterling silver with colours and original designs. I did this job for many years and it got sold all over Norway.
Malevo Design was a continuation of what I started in Jerusalem, and it was an important chapter in my life.
